Adayla's First Day of Kindergarten

Tuesday was Adayla's first day of Kindergarten. We're coming to grips with the fact that we have a Kindergartner...

Posing outside of her new school...

Up the stairs on the way to class...

Uh, wait a minute, that was a flashback picture to Adayla's first day of preschool in China... 3 years ago!!! She was so little!!!

Adayla's new classroom...

She's a good apple!
Adayla had a great first day of school. Give her a call, she'll tell you all about it! She already made a new friend, Alexa. The teacher already told them that they cannot sit next to each other during class because they talk too much together... this was the first day!

On Adayla's second day, she came home and told us that she didn't have enough time to eat her lunch in the cafeteria. Come to find out, miss social butterfly was too busy talking during lunch that she didn't have time to finish her lunch. So Adayla's task for day #3 is to balance her chatting with her eating during lunch!

Brennan experienced the same lunch thing. Too much talking and too little time. Hope she can manage eating while talking the same time soon. =)

I probably had the same problem with talking too much and I turned out fine, I think? She was a little peanut when she was headed to preschool in China, now she's all grown up and cute as ever! Thanks for the pictures!

Hey Skinners, let's have a poll! What did Morgan pack for Adayla's lunch in her cool pink lunchbox? Don't reveal the answer until everyone has had the chance to guess...

My guess is a turkey sandwich on whole wheat bread, maybe a slice of cheese. An apple and some celery with peanut butter, nah forget the pb just celery :)

All Gilbert generations have had the talking too much but not the no eating. I think it was gold fish and peanut butter sandwiches with a juicy juice and an oatmeal pie.

Red peppers with hummus, grapes, turkey sandwich, and a cup to get some water from the drinking fountain.

JJ Thinks adayla had a turkey and wheat bread sandwich without any condiments. A side of avacado with no salt. Some kind of nasty fruit like a lemon. And to top it off a v8 juice drink. Eat enough and youll learn to like it. If morgan was packing my lunchs i would sit and talk rather than eat too!!!!

haha, good one JJ. maybe adayla is eating her friend's lunch with her and saying she didn't have time to eat it... i remember how much they loved your curry. oh that's what i guess, left-over curry with a hershey kiss and bottled water. odie had me thinking you were announcing number 4 on here by having me come out to your blog at 7:00 this morning! but this is stilll fun.

BW here. I would guess that Morgan cooked her up a nice fish, packed it in her lunch with an apple for the teacher, a king dong, some pretzels, and an orange bug juice.

So, I keep checking back for the food reveal because it's cracking me up! I don't really know anything about what Morgan feeds to her kids but just the fact of it is making me laugh.....seems like a total Skinner thing. Miss you all.
