Pres Bush at Air Force Academy Graduation

President Bush was the speaker at the Air Force Academy Graduation in Colorado Springs this past week. Hard to believe that it's been 11 years since I walked across that same stage. While the downside is that I'm getting older, the upside is that I only have 9 years left until retirement!!

The real reason I write this is because of the article I just read on a Chinese news website, Xinhua. The article is "Bush Plays Chest-bumping with Air Force Cadets." Looks like President Bush was either in a really good mood that day or he was a bit hypoxic from the 6,500' altitude!!

I think these pics are great. I just wonder if any American news agency would post pictures of a foreign president doing the same thing? I'm guessing no...

Here are some more of the pics:
(and remember, when you see an AFA grad, tell them that you love them!)

Those pictures crack me up!

It is kind of hard to believe it's been 11 years for you guys! We live in Aurora for now and a friend and I and our youngest went to the Springs to try to see the Thunderbird show. Darn cloudy skies!!! I wonder how many years have had the show and how many have been cancelled - like your year.

I hope the next 9 years go fast for you. Jim keep saying he'll stay in "until they kick him out..."

It's fun to see your blog and follow your China adventures. Jim mentioned the same program at one time but didn't really pursue it.
