Happy Birthday Tally!!

She is now our little 2 year old (on May 15th...celebrated on the 17th....posted on the blog much later than that!) And she is now such a big girl with her own stubborn sweet little personality. She is so expressive in all that she does. She thinks she can do all that the big kids do and so she looks like a wounded soldier many days! But she is tough, after she goes down, she stands up, looks around, and says "whoa!" Right now, every time we say a prayer, it is always her turn! Shes loves to help me in the kitchen (and then eat what we make!) Everytime she puts her shoes on, they are on the wrong feet. She loves to sing and will sing "do, re, mi", along with any song that you will sing with her. She gives huge bear hugs and tells the best "secrets." She has really started talking and says a mix of Chinese and English. Her favorite Chinese words are yu (fish), jiao (foot), and yes (dui). She eats everything, but I don't think she could survive on her favorite things to put in her mouth: her shoes (I can't even bear the thought of how disgusting they are and what kind of funk they have on them), lotion, rubber bands, and hand sanitizing gel. We love her for her all the silly things she does. Her "Tally face" is given less often these days, replaced with smiles and giggles. We love her so much and are so grateful we get to have her in our family. We received a new big girl trike and she can make it go! Happy Birthday !!!
