Home again, home again

We only had to spend 1 day in the hospital, an answer to Adayla's prayer! Usually they prefer you to stay 2 days here, but I was ready to go home. Things looked great for Ryann and me and so they released us. Backing up a bit.....

Tim brought the girls up with Ayi (the Helper Lady) to meet their new sister. Adayla was very excited and couldn't wait to hold her. Tally was a bit freaked out over the hospital and the IV in my hand and wasn't really into the whole thing. Thankfully not becuase of baby, but just trying to figure out what was going on. Anyways they had a good visit and were able to munch on some crackers and "steal" some of my juice. Tim told them it was time to go home and Adayla hopped right up to point to the carseat so Ryann could be strapped in. Thats when we told her that Mommy and Ryann had to stay the night at least one night at the hospital (and we actually were planning on the two.) She made the saddest face and started to softly cry. I told her the doctor told us that we needed to stay the night, but if she wanted to she could go ask her herself.

She went into the hall and looked around for the doctor. She first saw a nurse and asked her if we could all go home all in Chinese. Then she finally found my doctor and asked her all in Chinese why baby Ryann couldn't go home with us. Once she realized it was the doctors idea to keep us there, she was satisfied enough to return home. Ayi took the girls home and put them in bed while Tim and I spent time together with Ryann. How grateful we are to have such a good helper lady that we trust with the girls and who the girls are so comfortable with.

Tim and I soaked up the time sitting on my small hospital bed with our newest sweet little baby. I pulled up a few pictures of Tally and Adayla when they were born and we talked about how blessed with are with the opportunity to raise these precious little one. I just love having these little spirits straight from our Heavenly Father's presence to just snuggle and love.

Tim left me there and went home to hopefully get a good night's rest. He woke up with the girls the next morning and had breakfast with them. While saying the morning prayer, Adayla sweetly asked that Mommy and Baby Ryann would be able to come today. We are impressed with her understanding of prayer and to ask about things that she does desire and for her that morning it was so we could all be home together.

Tim came up to the hospital and we prepared to bring Ryann home. Tim had fresh flowers waiting for us as we came through the door along with two little girls eager to hold their sister again! They both love her and it is nice to be home!

Awww...that made me all teary eyed. That is so precious and sweet. Bringing home a new little person who has joined the family is such an incredible time. You have such a beautiful family (and you look great, Morgan!). That was so cute about Adayla wanting you to come home and getting an answer to her prayer.

Enjoy your babymoon! Keep sending lots of pictures!

Love,
The Clifton's

I can not see through my tears. What a great time to be bringing up three little girls. They will be each others friends believe me. You will see the strength the gospel brings and also they will give strength to each other. They will give each other the "business" too.

I want the real truth, did Tim actually pass out??? I thought that was too funny! Congrats to the Kuehnes. She is just as cute as your other two. Max can't wait to meet his little cousin, Ryann. When we get settled in Wyoming, we will SKype you. We have prayed for you every night. I am just trying to get our apartment packed and cleaned and still give Max some attention. We LOVE YOU ALL! Thanks Tim for the info - I am excited about the 10 buck packages to Iraq and to send one to you guys.
