Here she is...

... the 2008 Air Force Falcon Football schedule! Can't you hear it, the fans cheering "Another Falcon Firstdown!"

Will be interesting to see now that CBS has bought out CSTV (and CSTV also owns Versus and The Mountain sports network) how the coverage will change and expand. Hopefully the broadcasts get that more professional, more finished feel that games on ESPN have. Since CBS bought CSTV to compete with ABC and ABC's ESPN, I hope they invest the money needed for the upgrades...

At any rate, a game broadcast by "CBS College Sports" look better than just "CSTV."

Also interesting to see that Air Force added an out-of-conference game at Houston. Air Force's head coach, Troy Calhoun, came to Air Force last year after being the offensive coordinator for the NFL's Houston Texans (sad that you have to specify that the Texans are in the NFL, most people forget!). So at any rate, looks like Air Force added the Houston game to capitalize on recruiting opportunities there while Calhoun is still remembered in the area. Great scheduling move.

Ok, so no new baby yet, but at least this is something new to look at on the blog!
