The snow finally stopped. After shoveling the driveway and sidewalks, and knocking snow from the trees, there were only two things left to do: wait for a snowplow to come do the street and... play in the snow!
Ryann loves bundling up, but still is learning to enjoying staying outside in the cold weather...

We started sledding on the hill that's on the side of our house...

It takes a couple of passes to pack the snow down. this hill is a "bunny hill," perfect for Ryann

... and for Adayla to warm up her tricks on!

Tally and Binx had fun running through the walls of snow that were created by the shoveled sidewalks.
Then Tally, the lookout, spotted our next-door neighbor friends, Mia and Nessa, coming!

So it was time to transition to the big-kids' hill for sledding.
One of our neighbors digging out... look at how much snow is on top of his minivan!
The double black diamond sledding run is located between the neighbor's house and our house...
Scott used his big metal saucer to pack down the snow for the run, perfectly turning to avoid the trees.
Timmy and Tally were good...
But Adayla and her friend Nessa were the stars of the day, they went down so fast, giggling and screaming!
No Fear!
Hanging out at the bottom of the run...

As long as Binx had something under him besides snow he was happy

Great weather, great snow
