Wow, I never thought I would quote Gene Simmons and the apostle Paul in the same thought, but I just did. When I was little, my brother brainwashed me with KISS, I thought these were the coolest guys ever. When I grew up (at least when I got older), I put away those childish things. But then KISS came to Washington D.C. at the Verizon Center, exactly on my birthday of all days. So Morgan bought us tickets for the show!
Waiting for the curtain to drop...
With 10,000 of our closest friends... 
and there are the boys, Gene Simmons, Paul Stanley, Ace Frehley and Peter Criss 
But then Gene did his spitting fire routine... 
And later he did his blood-spitting routine... 
and Morgan decided that Gene was "disgusting." That may be, but he can fly... 
and play at the top of the arena... 
Peter Criss on the drums... this is who I wanted to be back in the day...
KISS was formed in 1973... they have been rocking for over 35 years, putting these guys at 60+ years old. But you know what, they gave an incredible performance. Their voices were great, they played for over two hours, and they can still dance in 10 inch heels!
Morgan at first thought Gene Simmons was "unique."

Bang for the buck, this was just an incredible concert... I just hope I'm as fit as these guys are when I'm 60!

Hi, Kuhnes! Love seeing how things are going for you! Morgan, I think you should start a new trend and get some of those 10-inch heels to wear to church!! Did you guys find a chinese-speaking ward/branch to attend? Did you hear the news on our end? I'm going to go back to school and get a degree in mandarin...at byu. It's 6 hours from our house and we're still working out the details but am really excited. Trent's looking into HP's 'work from home' program so he can go too. Fun, huh?! I don't often leave comments here but I do love checking your blog and keeping in touch with you guys that way. Happy New Year!! :)
Great pictures. I wondered all those years if anything was sinking in. Nice to see I made an impression.
Oh my goodness. And on the blog. There ought to be a law or commandment against that. I am sure the guys are going yay and the women are tolerating it. Happy Anniversary to you.
