The girls and I just got home a birthday party of a girl in Adayla's school class. It was great fun and sadly I don't have pictures. It ended up being outside (it is still cold here) at the BBQ pit. They had a clown and TONS and TONS of food. Everything from grilled veggies, chicken, steak, salmon, chicken wings, salad, hotdogs, and pizza plus a 3 tier cake (almost like a wedding cake) and goodies. There were 20 to 30 adults and half of them chasing their child who is 5 or 6 with food. I have no idea when Chinese kids learn to eat on their own....different culture, different ways. They had balloons specially made to wrap around the poles in hearts and flowers and a 24 x 36 picture of her blown up welcoming everyone to the party. These people know how to make a birthday party an occassion.
Anyways the place the pizza was from caters more towards the Chinese market, which of course makes sense. The girls mom handed me a piece of pizza and so what else was I to do, but chow down. It had corn, carrots, pepperoni, shrimp, crab, mozzerella, and then ketchup for the sauce. Definitely the most interesting pizza I have eaten, but not bad. So come to China and I will treat you to pizza!!
The girls had fun running with all the Chinese kids and clown that came. Adayla has been out of school since the end of December, but she'll be joining all her classmates again next week!

Darn it, I wish there were pictures! I love reading about your travels. You guys are crazy! I am not sure that the states are ready for you... We miss you.
More interesting than hotdog pizza?
I am ready for you to get your booties back here. Too bad you don't have pics, we could do a compare/contrast with the hot dog pizza. Their hot dog pizza is very popular.
