New shoes....

Tonight we took Josie to one of our favorite markets for shopping. She didn't end up buying anything as we ran out of time because Ms. Adayla talked herself into a new pair of shoes. They are quite cute. She tried them on and they were hers. Bad idea since we had not yet negotiated a price. Of course, they tried to rip us off completely and so we told them no way. Then we tried to get the shoes off Adayla's feet and she threw a fit! We had pretty much told her she could have them, but I thought I good get a decent price. The girl told me 120 RMB and I said no way! She goes into explaining how this is a good price, blah blah. Adayla starts screaming and I told her we would only pay 60 RMB and they were ours. I don't know if this was the best price for them, but we paid it and Adayla has some new shoes! It was very quick negotiating. Tally had her new pair of Nikes that I bought a year ago for 7 bucks and thought she was quite fast in her new shoes! Most of the Chinese asked if they were "real" and I told them and then told them how much I paid for them. They didn't believe me.
